Our goal in creating Durban Feminized cannabis seeds was to provide an ideal outdoor sativa for growers of all levels. It is quick, mold-resistant, and has a high yield, even in unfavorable weather conditions. The growth pattern of Durban Feminized is specifically bred to produce pure outdoor sativa plants. Our parent strain, Durban Poison, is a well-known cannabis landrace, and we have preserved its genetics in these seeds. These plants are shorter than other Durban strains, have a shorter flowering time, and produce dense clusters of flowers. During the vegetative stage, a strong main stem and lateral branches develop, and once flowering begins, the calyxes grow at the nodes and spread upwards, filling the branches and stem. The plants have short pistils that start off pink or yellow and darken as they grow.

Durban Feminized is a beginner-friendly option, as it can withstand common growing mistakes. Its resilience and reliability make it a high-yielding strain, even in colder climates. The plants grow steadily, but can be kept at a height of 150 centimeters by limiting the vegetative stage or pruning. This makes it suitable for smaller gardens or balconies. For maximum height, the seeds can be started indoors and moved outside once the frost has passed, without pruning or cutting back. This can result in plants that are around a meter taller. Due to its height, Durban Feminized can benefit from training techniques like supercropping or the Sea of Green (SOG) or Screen of Green (SCROG) methods for more compact growth. The lateral branches are thick, so lollipopping is usually not necessary.
